Friday Finds

A little Friday Finds today, as I was busy all week with work and didn’t have as much time to scope out new patterns or knitting news. Let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to mention for a future Friday!

  • JAPAN Yoko Johnston has developed a cute little crochet pattern to make cherry blossoms, or Sakura. These adorable blossoms would be fantastic strung on a sticks, as she’s done, or attached to bobby pins as hair decoration, or stitched onto shirts, or as an appliqué on a bag… Loads of possibilities.

  • Sandra Jäger has designed this amazing colorwork sheep beanie, perfect for cool spring evenings (or to work on over the summer—hats are little and don’t weigh much!—in time for fall and winter).

  • If you’re looking for a cute and simple top to transition between spring and summer, look no further than Terri Kruse’s Momo. A simple cabled panel on the front with a stockinette stitch back makes this a fast but interesting knit.

    1. Decided to click on one more thing, glad I did love the Japanese flower arrangement.
      Thanks for the picture.
