Welcome to the new blog site!

Here we are at the new and maybe one day improved Threadpanda.com!

As I mentioned on the old blog, I haven’t had much to write about. I am working on my Lilac Wine cowl and it’s coming along quite well. It’s a bunch of 1×1 ribbing, so not terribly thrilling to photograph. This is a great mindless project and travels really well.

My Iðunn is coming along swimmingly—finished the body the other night and started knitting the sleeves. I’m deviating from the pattern yet again to knit the sleeves separately and then I will graft them on at the end. I love seamless construction, I hate having to flip the entire project around constantly while knitting in the round.

Don’t forget about the Puffy Stitch Scarf Crochetalong we’ll be starting in February! I need to figure out a good way to organize this. If you have any thoughts, please share them in the comments below!

    1. Thanks! I have to say, I found a pretty good deal on hosting which included the domain registration! If you’re interested, let me know and I can send you a referral link. 😀

  1. Hey,
    New blog looks shiny.
Just wondering if there are any plans to update the LJ feed? I got something in my friends list for your Friday Finds today, but it linked to a non-existent page on the old wordpress site 🙂

  2. love the new blog! especially for the very selfish reason that i don’t have to click through from my reader!

very much looking forward to the crochet along, although i’ve never done one before, so unfortunately, i have no idea how to advise you to organize stuff 🙂

  3. Fancy!!

I’m excited for the CAL! Do you have your own group on Ravelry? Then we could all chat over there about it? What did you have in mind so far?

    1. I don’t have a group on Ravelry! I don’t know that I’m presumptuous enough to start one. Though that probably would be the easiest thing in the world, wouldn’t it? Oof.
