Super Six: November 2013

NOVEMBER IS GOING TO BE AWESOME.

1. There’s NaKniSweMo, which I’ve mentioned before. The “easy” version is to knit a sweater in a month. The “official” version is to knit a sweater consisting of 50,000 stitches in a month. I will just meet the official regulations with my Hiro, and I’m about 30% of the way through the sweater now, so I’m excited and looking forward to having another sweater by the end of the month!

2. Sleepy Hollow

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SHOW AND IT’S FINALLY COMING BACK TONIGHT AFTER A LONG HIATUS (long being three weeks, thanks to the World Series). It’s a strange premise, no doubt, but it’s so much fun and hooks the viewer and IT’S SO GOOD GO WATCH IT.

3. Curtsies and Conspiracies by Gail Carriger

Gail Carriger wrote one of my favorite book series of the last few years, called the Parasol Protectorate, and then started this kind-of-but-not-really spin-off series, Finishing School, Curtsies and Conspiraacies, the second book, comes out tomorrow and I’m stupidly excited.

4. DVDS—The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition and Man of Steel
YES I ALREADY OWN THE HOBBIT AND YES I PREORDERED THE EXTENDED EDITION WHAT OF IT. Don’t expect to hear from me at all next weekend. And then next Tuesday, Man of Steel is released! Yay new movies!

5. MOVIES—Thor: The Dark World and Catching Fire
I CAN’T WAIT. Can’t. Wait.

6. Thanskgiving
Thanksgiving isn’t a huge deal in my family, and I’m not really sure I’m going to be doing anything on the holiday itself, but it’s four and a half days of prime pajama time—knitting, watching TV (I’m contemplating a Lord of the Rings Trilogy rewatch), chilling out in general. Fantastic.

This absolutely sounds like my kinda November… Except for the Thanksgiving part since I’m Canadian and I already did that šŸ˜‰

  2. My family doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving either when it came up earlier in October for us Canadians. I did like the extra day off.

Sleepy Hollow is so witty and I really like it.
