It promises to be good fun! I suspect this is a great project for new sweater knitters. It’s not your typical construction—the shoulders and yoke are worked first, then the body is picked up and worked in the round to the bottom hem—but it’s easy knitting (even if that is a lot of purling to get garter stitch in the round, and yes I am considering just seaming it so I can knit as many stitches as possible) and doesn’t require any special knowledge. Pretty much no seaming for you seam haters! (No judgment.)
I’m hoping to get a good little handful of prizes for knitters who finish their Stoney Brooks by November 30, so if you have a prize you’d like to offer (a skein of your hand-dyed yarn, some stitch markers, a project bag, a pattern), please let me know!
