Techniques
The Mason-Dixon ladies cover how to tidy your yarn stash. I most definitely fall into the Ann method of yarn organization, with occasional forays into the Kay method (usually when I just want to set fire to everything I own because it’s overwhelming me). How about you?

I’ve never heard of an Icelandic bind-off before but I just tried it on a swatch! Unfortunately it’s a dark swatch and doesn’t photograph well, but maybe there will be a future blog post on it.

Yarn
Rachel Coopey’s new yarn, Socks Yeah! has launched! Rachel was sweet enough to share a couple of skeins of Sphene with me at Rhinebeck and it’s gorgeous. Must have for sock knitters and colorwork knitters alike!

Patterns
Sarah Hurwitz, Emma Welford, and Teresa Gregorio launched their Neon Neutral Triangle Club collection—6 patterns playing on triangles and neon and awesomeness.

Spilly Jane has released a book collection of mittens, called Spilly Jane Knits Mittens.

I have no idea how the concept of “ugly Christmas sweaters” got started but Knit Picks is here to continue the trend with The Best of the Worst: Ugly Sweaters 2015. I love this one especially.
