Friday Finds

Another week, another Friday finds! We’ve started early release Fridays at work, so very soon I will be going home to try to stay cool while working on the Loki scarf. Thank you so much to everyone who commented on that post and showed an interested in a scarf pattern! I don’t know that I’ll write up a for realsies pattern, but I’ll definitely share my notes when it’s finished.

And now, on to the patterns for this week!

  • Tara Sieglinger’s Middle Street (£4) is a super cute tee worked in sport weight yarn, with ruching at the sides to create a flattering silhouette.

  • Natessa ($6) by Corrina Ferguson is a beautiful light and lacy crescent shawl. I love the way the lace patterns flow effortlessly together.

  • I love stripes and I love the idea of maybe using up bits of fingering weight yarn (I have a lot of leftover bits), so I’m digging Athena’s Wrap ($2) by Julie Blagojevich.

  • Tanis Lavallée has a new collection out, and the Adhara shawl (CAN$6) is my favorite from the collection (at the moment, anyway—they’re all so pretty!).

  • I do love colorwork—I must if I’m knitting a stranded colorwork scarf in light fingering weight—and when I saw Anna Ravenscroft’s Peace and Love Sweater ($5.50) pop up in the new patterns, I immediately fell in love. This pullover is knit with intarsia, not stranded colorwork, but it’s so cute and clever!

  • And finally, Aurore ($4) by Ariane Caron-Lacoste is an exquisitely simple cowl. Imagine knitting this in a super-special skein of luxurious yarn (whatever “luxurious yarn” means to you).

All photos are from Ravelry pattern pages unless otherwise noted.
