Last Week on the Web

Friday was a disjointed day so I never remembered to post a Friday Finds! And then today is a doozy of a day. How fitting that a couple of these entries are related to David Bowie + knitting?

Knits in the News
Deramores posted this photo of a Ziggy Stardust amigurumi on Friday to celebrate the singer’s birthday.

And this amazing Ziggy sweater was shared on KnitHacker.

With the new year comes new knitting resolutions. Here’s a pretty general round up of knitting resolutions. Did you make any? What are they?

More in the vein of knitting resolutions, KnitLuck has a post in which she rounded up resolution support groups (sort of).

Eddie Redmayne’s early modeling photos for Rowan magazine have circulated the internet for a few years now, but recently came up on the Graham Norton Show. Watch below or go to YouTube to view.

This blog post from Franklin Habit basically ruled my week last week: Dear Journalists: How to write about knitting and crocheting.

Kelbourne Woolens announced a few collections, including their first designer collection of the year, featuring six new patterns from Bristol Ivy. I really really really want to knit Hylda—any of these calling to you?

Did you know that the Victoria and Albert Museum has free vintage knitting patterns posted on their website?!
