Last Week on the Web

Quick post this week, and I will probably be taking the rest of the week off from blogging, so happy holidays to those of you celebrating this week!

Julie Asselin did a great interview with the ladies behind Pom Pom magazine. I just picked up the new issue at Fancy Tiger a little while ago and I wish I had more time to knit everything in it.

Twist Collective shared Franklin Habit’s Elizabeth Zimmerman–inspired drinking game and I’ve decided my new goal in life is to have a drinking game inspired by me. Hopefully in such a classy manner as this one.

Kim Werker interviewed Miriam Felton on her podcast and while I haven’t watched it yet, I am intrigued by the idea of a year of making. I consider myself a maker at heart, even if it’s primarily as a knitter, so I am sure that I do make something every day, but can I remember to share that with the world and be mindful of such making? (Yes, I’m basically saying I’m so nutso right now I don’t know if I can remember to post a photo every day.) Are you participating in #yearofmaking?

  1. I love this blog feature! I haven’t been keeping up to date with Kim Werker’s podcast, and you’ve given me the kick to do so. I’ve long thought the year of making was a great way to be mindful of my time spent. I might join you on that in 2015!
